Description
Still white Vermentino, 12% ABV, produced by Santa Cristina (Antinori) in Tuscany, 2024 vintage. A Vermentino that embodies the essence of Tuscany, with a bouquet evoking the freshness of the sea and the sweetness of fruit. The grapes are destemmed, crushed, and gently pressed. The resulting must is chilled to 10°C to promote natural clarification; it is then transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation takes place at a temperature no higher than 17°C. Aged in stainless steel tanks at 10°C until bottling. On the nose, it expresses intense aromas of pineapple and grapefruit, combined with delicate notes of rose petals and aromatic herbs. Straw yellow with greenish reflections that hint at its freshness. On the palate, it is balanced, full, and savory, with a pleasant freshness and a citrus aftertaste.
