Description

Still red wine from Tuscany, 13.5% ABV, produced by Il Paradiso di Manfredi. 100% Sangiovese. 0.75L bottle. A Brunello di Montalcino named after Manfredi Martini, an expert grower, and the "Il Paradiso" estate. Elegant and refined on the nose, with hints of black cherry and plum jam, dried violets, fern, tamarind, and cinereous berries, followed by licorice, aromatic herbs, and a wealth of spices, humus, pipe tobacco, cinchona, and tar. Bright ruby-garnet color. Great structure on the palate, with soft, silky tannins and a perfect fresh-savory finish.

From this winery
The company takes its name from Manfredi Martini (an expert farmer, born in Montalcino in 1914) and from the farmstead ‘Il Paradiso’, a farmhouse built in the early 1800s. Around 1950, Manfredi and his wife Fortunata, also an expert farmer, purchased the ‘Il Paradiso’ farmstead. In 1967, Manfredi, together with other farmers and producers, founded the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino. Today, we continue to produce wine, striving to respect the traditions, history and typical characteristics of the Montalcino wine-growing area. Read more
