Description
What kind of wine it is
Malbech Gli Aceri by Paladin is a still red wine with Protected Geographical Indication from Veneto, made from Malbec grapes and matured in oak barrels. To the eye, it displays a ruby red colour enriched with garnet highlights, while on the nose it offers intense fruity aromas, enhanced by notes of tobacco and spices. On the palate, it is harmonious and elegant, characterised by softened tannins and excellent persistence.
Where it comes from
The grapes are grown in Annone Veneto, in the province of Venice. The local rural area provides the ideal habitat for the full expression of the Malbec grape variety. The identity of this wine is linked to the experience of Paladin, a winery active since 1962 that has succeeded in enhancing the characteristics of the grape while maintaining a deep loyalty to its place of origin.
How it is produced
Vinification begins with a skin maceration of fifteen to twenty days, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Maturation continues for twelve months in small barrels and a further six months in large oak barrels, finally concluding with at least six months of bottle ageing. This careful production process harmoniously integrates the fruity component with the wood, while also ensuring compliance with vegan certification requirements.
