Description
Aromatic still white wine from Alsace, France, 12% ABV, produced by Domaine Mure. 100% Gewurztraminer Aromatico, 0.75 L bottle, 2018 vintage. A Gewurztraminer born from the passion of the Muré family, who have cultivated the Rouffach vineyards since the 17th century. Hand-harvested in 20 kg boxes on October 25th. Slow fermentation and maturation on the fine lees. Fine and elegant nose of rose and lychee. Intense yellow. Round on the palate, refreshed by spicy and exotic notes (mango, passion fruit). Nowadays it is Alfred’s grandson René, together with his children Véronique and Thomas, the 11th and 12th generations of the family, who are responsible for running this exceptional, wholly-owned vineyard and its neighbouring terroirs, using biodynamic methods. Read more
