Organic still red from the Uco Valley, Argentina, produced by Michel Rolland Collection, 2020 vintage. 100% Malbec, a varietal that best expresses the characteristics of the Argentine terroir. Michel Rolland, a world-renowned winemaker, has created this collection of wines that tell family stories and discoveries. Manual harvest and double sorting. Vinification in small concrete vats and new French oak barrels for alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation in the same barrels. Aged for 30 months in the same French oak barrels. Intense on the nose with hints of violet and blackberry, accompanied by notes of toasted bread and cedar. Deep red color with garnet highlights. On the palate, the wine is dense and opulent, with generous tannins.

We are Dany and Michel Rolland, wine growers. We have enriched the family heritage with passion and experience with various French and foreign productions, now grouped in the 'Rolland collection'. The Rolland Collection is the range of our Bordeaux wines from the right bank, the historic cradle of the Rolland family in Pomerol, expanded with our favourites "from elsewhere" during our professional travels: the New World, with a range of wines from Argentina and one from South Africa, and tomorrow... perhaps other oenological or sentimental adventures. Rolland Collection also distributes wines from estates where we are the consulting oenologists, Michel and his team, intervening only for advice on viticulture and oenology, blending and ageing, with the experience of our 40 years of field practice.
