| Story | The sparkling wine tradition in Umbria dates back only to the early 1980s, but the careful choice of soils and microclimate where the right conditions were found to produce grapes with good acidity has allowed a production that equals that of better known areas. The character added by the Umbrian habitat and the long and careful vinification process makes it a much sought-after product. |
