Librandi, the famous Calabrian winery based in Cirò Marina, is one of the most flourishing wine producers in the region. Thanks to the production of wines made from indigenous grapes such as Gaglioppo, it has succeeded in making the incredible flavours of Cirò known to the world. Moreover, the area where the vines are grown, close to the sea and sheltered by the mountains, is ideal for producing wines that stand out for their elegance and extreme balance.Xtrawine devotes ample space to the Librandi wines made from vines such as Gaglioppo, Blend Rosso and Magliocco Canino, belonging to the best vintages of 2014 and 2016.Today, relying on over 230 hectares under vine, the Cantina Librandi can produce over two million bottles a year. This is due not only to the presence of vineyards scattered all over the place, but also to the numerous investments in research in order to give both indigenous and international grape varieties due prominence.Interesting is the presence in the Librandi winery of a space called the 'labyrinth' formed by a network of concentric circles where clones of grapes can be found that are no longer found in nature. From here, one moves on to the cellar, where old and new production techniques coexist to produce products with a unique character.
