Description
Still red from Tuscany, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 13.5% ABV, produced by Le Ragnaie. 100% Sangiovese, a wine that embodies the tradition and excellence of Montalcino. 0.75L bottle, 2020 vintage. The Le Ragnaie winery extends over 28 hectares in the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete. Aged for 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels and 1 year in bottle. The nose is intense and evolved: a hint of dried rose anticipates a kaleidoscope of fruity and spicy aromas, such as black cherry, blackberry, orange peel, peach, cloves, licorice, star anise, and cigar. Transparent garnet red color. On the palate, the tannins are well-crafted and perfectly integrated, allowing the sip to flow easily. It has a solid and generous volume on the palate.
