Description
Brut Champagne, classic method vintage, produced by Henriot, 2012 vintage. An iconic Champagne, celebrating the history of a Maison founded in 1808. A wine made from a blend of 54% Chardonnay and 46% Pinot Noir. The bubbles are extremely fine, a testament to extensive cellar aging. On the nose, the bouquet is dominated by citrus and yellow fruit, vineyard peach, and nectarine, with a subtle floral note. Subtle notes of honey and candied lemon add a touch of indulgence and lend a silky character. The color is pale gold with brilliant highlights. Freshness and lightness dominate on the palate. Grapefruit, apricot, citron, and fresh citrus come alive, lingering on notes of fruit jellies, yet with a strong minerality that is always present. The finish is long, refined, silky, and refreshing. A resolutely low dosage gives it a very harmonious balance.
