Description
What kind of wine it is
Moscato Canelli Casa di Bianca is an aromatic and sweet white wine, made from Moscato Bianco grapes. Characterised by a bright straw-yellow colour and fine bubbles, it offers aromas of orange blossom, peach, apricot, sage and anise. The lively palate is marked by a balanced natural sweetness, while the sparkling process, carried out using the Martinotti-Charmat method, gives it a pronounced aromatic freshness.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in Piedmont, in Castagnole delle Lanze, within the Asti area and the Canelli subzone. The grapes come from Casa di Bianca, a vineyard located in the heart of the estate, which has always been dedicated to this crop. The Gianni Doglia winery cultivates the rows following a organic and sustainable approach. This deep care for the land is expressed in a high-quality wine, confirmed by prestigious oenological awards.
How it is produced
Production begins in September with the manual harvest and careful selection of the bunches. This is followed by gentle pressing to extract the must, which is then fermented in pressurised tanks where the wine remains in contact with the yeasts for six months. This maturation in autoclave ensures the development of a fine perlage. Served between 10 and 12°C, it pairs beautifully with cheeses, cured meats and desserts, making it ideal for any festive occasion.
History and Curiosities
Produced in Castagnole delle Lanze, Moscato d’Asti DOCG by Gianni Doglia is the result of a winemaking tradition that began in 1940. The name celebrates the “Casa di Bianca”, a prized plot in the heart of the estate, always dedicated to the cultivation of Moscato Bianco. The grapes, strictly hand-picked at the beginning of September, release their fresh aromas thanks to the Martinotti-Charmat method and a six-month rest in a pressurised tank. Excellence is confirmed by awards such as the Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso and the Quattro Viti AIS.

This is the case for the Moscato produced by Gianni Doglia who devotes a lot of attention to the production of two types of both charged with fineness. Excellent all the other wines, tasty, catchy with so much passion inside each sip. The Merlot in its typology of Red Monferrato (with the exclamation point) has more and more charisma and we are always grateful for having tasted it, because it is produced in very limited edition with only 500 bottles.
