Description
What type of wine it is
Gabe Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Dry Estate Indiana is a sparkling wine with great expressive purity, made entirely from Glera grapes. Produced within the prestigious area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, this wine stands out for its Dry style, which offers a pleasant softness on the palate. Visually, it presents a brilliant straw-yellow colour, embellished with a fine and creamy perlage. The sparkling process takes place via the Charmat Method, ensuring a harmonious sip and a vibrant freshness. On the palate, it is round and persistent, ideal to accompany the end of a meal or for pairings with dry pastries and classic leavened desserts.
Where it comes from
The grapes grow in the hilly region of Veneto, specifically in the renowned geographical mention Rive di Collalbrigo Costa, located between Conegliano and Feletti. The territory enhances the natural viticultural vocation of the site thanks to clayey soils, low in limestone and with a marked tendency towards acidity. This peculiar composition ensures excellent water retention and encourages deep rooting of the vines, allowing maximum absorption of the microelements that give the wine structure and flavour balance. Gabe Tenute interprets these hills, delivering a sip with a fresh and elegant profile, enriched by hints of Mediterranean aromatic herbs.
How it is produced
The production process begins with a late harvest of the Glera grapes, an agronomic choice aimed at obtaining the right concentration and natural residual sugar. After fermentation with selected yeasts, the secondary fermentation takes place in an autoclave. Subsequently, the wine undergoes ageing on the fine lees for at least three months, an essential technique to stabilise the flavour balance and broaden the roundness of the sip. The aromatic bouquet is complex and releases notes of peach, green apple, melon and nuances of white flowers. To fully enhance the aromas and the harmonious finish, it is recommended to serve this Prosecco at a temperature of 8°C.
