Description
What kind of wine it is
Rosso di Gino from Fattoria San Lorenzo is a still red wine that authentically expresses the character of the Marche region. Born from a harmonious blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese, it appears in the glass with a bright ruby red hue. On the nose, it releases fruity aromas, dominated by distinct notes of red fruit that anticipate a pleasant drink. On the palate, it is fresh and smooth, offering a balanced and highly drinkable sip. It pairs perfectly with convivial moments, enhancing pork-based main courses and rich platters of selected cheeses.
Where it comes from
This red wine has its roots in the hills of the Marche, a region with a strong and ancient winemaking tradition. Production is centred in Montecarotto, reflecting the precise agricultural identity of Fattoria San Lorenzo. Work in the vineyard is guided by a strict organic philosophy, aimed at preserving the vitality of the soil and the genuineness of the fruit. Thanks to a favourable climate, the grapes reach optimal ripeness, resulting in a fruit-driven red that faithfully and essentially tells the story of the Marche landscape.
How it is produced
Vinification takes place through spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, followed by maceration on the skins which allows the structure to be extracted naturally. Subsequently, the wine matures for twelve months on its own lees in concrete vats, a prolonged contact that enriches the roundness of the sip. To preserve the aromatic integrity and natural texture, bottling is carried out without any filtration, ensuring a pure expression of the vineyard.
