Description

Still red Barolo DOCG Lazzarito Riserva, 14% ABV, produced by Ettore Germano, a historic Piedmontese winery since 1856. Vintage 2018. A Barolo Riserva born from the passion of four generations for the vineyard. The aromas of small red fruits blend with hints of sweet spice and licorice, creating a complex and enveloping bouquet. On the palate, the entry is very fine and elegant, but with a good, sweet, and long tannic finish. Aged in 2,000-liter oak barrels for approximately 24 to 36 months.

Soil composition Calcareous, marly with percentages of sand and iron.
Harvest Mid October. The grapes are harvested by hand in boxes at an advanced stage of ripeness, but not overripe.
Wine making In the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and crushed in vertical steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation takes place with maceration on the skins for about 50 / 60 days, during which several daily pumpings over are carried out to favour the extraction of colour and tannin.
