Story A goddess-volcano stands out on the label of Donnafugata's Etna Bianco Sul Vulcano. Its intense colours - red, yellows, iridescent blacks - are those of Europe's highest active volcano. An ancient, powerful and feminine divinity: 'the Mountain' as Etna is called by the locals. Sul Vulcano is a declaration of love: a pure wine, with a distinct minerality, that breathes the energy of this unique place in the centre of the Mediterranean.
Origin Eastern Sicily, northern slope of Etna, between Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia
Climate This area north of the volcano is characterised by lower precipitation than the averages on the other slopes of Etna. Summers are cool, characterised by large temperature ranges between day and night. Altitude: 730-750 m. a.s.l.
