Description
Che tipo di distillato è
Grappa di Arneis by Marolo is a clear spirit that authentically expresses its native Piedmontese grape. Defined by a delicate floral bouquet, this unaged grappa reveals distinct notes of dog rose. The palate offers a clean mouthfeel, structured to deliver a soft and elegant profile that perfectly balances the 42% ABV. Harmonious from the first sip to the persistent finish, it serves as a sophisticated digestif when enjoyed neat after a meal.
Da dove proviene
This spirit originates from Roero in Piedmont, an area deeply linked to the cultivation of local white grapes. Sourcing selected Arneis pomace from this specific terroir ensures the grappa retains a light and focused aromatic profile. Marolo carefully works within this regional framework to highlight the authentic connection between the fruit and its origin. The result is a precise spirit, firmly tied to the Roero territory through a clean aromatic nose and a beautifully restrained taste.
Come viene prodotto
Production relies on slow bain-marie distillation, a method ensuring precise heat control to protect delicate primary aromas. Following extraction, the spirit matures exclusively in stainless steel tanks. This deliberate maturation choice prevents external flavour interference, completely preserving the pure aromatic line of the grappa. By avoiding barrel ageing, the liquid remains flawlessly clear, allowing the distinctive rosehip character to carry seamlessly from the nose to the palate.

Marolo represents the spirit of the land, the loyalty to its most noble vineyards and the transformation into a grappa that glorifies its natural characteristics. Distillation happens in bain marie disctoninuos stills, one for white and another for red, in small batches over a long period of time so that the original flavours of the grapes can be experienced.
Marolo is based in Alba, the capital of the Langhe, one of the world’s premier winegrowing districts for its diversity of grape varietals and the quality of its wines. The Langhe hills produce some of the finest red wines, such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto and Brachetto, but also great whites like Roero Arneis and the aromatic Moscato d’Asti.
Marolo’s grappas are a mirror of the incredible richness and diversity of the territory and viticulture. Not a neutral, standardized, industrial product, but a spirit able to narrate the grape from which it came, to enhance the varietal’s typical aromas, and express a unique, personal character linked to its land of origin.
