Description

What kind of wine it is

This Brut sparkling wine by Astoria is a dry and harmonious blend, an authentic expression of Glera grapes and other local varieties. In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow colour, enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers clear and elegant aromas, with fruity notes and a delicate aromatic hint. The palate is full, pleasantly tangy and releases a delightful freshness, ideal for convivial moments.

Where it comes from

The grapes come from the heart of Veneto, grown on the slopes of the Treviso Hills. The vineyards benefit from ideal sun exposure, ensuring excellent ripening of the bunches. Harvesting is carried out through careful manual picking, a fundamental step to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The Astoria brand meticulously oversees every stage of viticulture to enhance the identity of the terroir of origin.

How it is produced

The process begins with gentle pressing, a brief maceration and static cold decantation. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the prise de mousse occurs following the Charmat Method inside autoclaves. The wine then rests on the lees to enrich its flavour profile, finishing the production cycle with a final maturation that seals the aromatic elegance and harmonious structure of the finished product.

History and Curiosities
