Description
The Montersino company vineyards are located on the hills of San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, a small village of the town of Alba, near Treiso and are characterised by a thoroughly southern exposure at a higher altitude than Barbaresco. The soils are clayey-limestone with layers of sand and sandstone, which help to enhance the typical elegance of Nebbiolo.

It was in the 60s that, thanks to the legacy of some of those vineyards, Albino Rocca was able to establish what is now the current company.
