Features wine | The wine obtained from the green sylvaner grape is of straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The palate is fresh, velvety and characteristic. |
Growing areas | It is particularly widespread in the province of Bolzano. It is also popular in Germany, but also in Alsace, Austria and Eastern Europe. |
History | The Green Sylvaner vine, as reported in the National Register of Vine Varieties, or more simply "Sylvaner" is considered by some native to the Middle Rhine valley, while others consider it coming from Styria (Austria). |
