It is clear from ancient documents that the Colla family took care of wine as early as 1703, even though the official birth of the company was only in 1994, when all the family properties were united under one single brand. Cascine Drago in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, Tenuta Roncaglie in Barbaresco and the company Dardi Le Rose in Bussia are the three estates that make up the "park" vineyards.
From the different farms there is almost an anthology of Piedmontese wine with some international incursions. In the vineyard there is the motto: "protection of the health of the vineyard, the health of those who grow it and the health of those who will drink the wine".
Here, well before biological and biodynamic became a must, the Colla family has posed the problem of the protection of nature and the environment in which it lives and of which it lives, which is the only wealth to be safeguarded.
Thus, without much media advertising, since 1995 participates in the agri-environmental program of the Piedmont region, with a much more restrictive internal protocol of integrated struggle and environmental sustainability. The wines of Colla, always very soft and pleasant, respect the naturalness, the typicality of the vine and the terroir of belonging.
