Monte Cicogna

The Materossi family, owners and founders of the Azienda Agricola Monte Cicogna in Moniga del Garda on the Brescian shore of Lake Garda started the wine business with its founder Pietro Materossi as far back as 1908.

Today, after more than a century of history, the fourth generation Materossi siblings: Maria Grazia, Alessandro, Luigi, Chiara and Cesare continue the legacy left by their father Piero with the same philosophy and commitment as in the past. Alessandro looks after the heart of the company in the vineyards and wine-making cellar while Cesare looks after the administrative and commercial side in the name of company continuity. The teachings, passion and secrets passed down from father to son are preserved and carry the company into the 21st century with the same excellence as in the past.
