Lelouvier

André Lelouvier started his business as a wine and spirits merchant in 1933 in Brioze, in the Orne. Soon, André Lelouvier adds to his business as a shopkeeper that of aging calvados and beer that he decides to distribute under the Lelouvier brand.

In the sixties, he is a leading figure in the region, both for the quality of his Calvados and for the relationships he maintains with the indirect tax services. In the seventies, he creates the Calvados Lelouvier company which he will pass on to his 112 children. His son Christian takes over the management.

It is in the Orne, a la Ferté Macé, at the "Domaine des champs", residence of André Lelouvier, that the calvados aged at the time.

In 2016, following the death of Christian Lelouvier, the company's business was acquired by Calvados Christian Drouin SAS.
