It was 1966 when Girolamo Dorigo bought the first vineyards in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, sensing the great potential of the land both for traditional cultivation and innovative experimentation. A knowledge that has been handed down for two generations: today it is his son Alessio who runs the company, recognized beyond national borders for the vocation to defend native varieties, for the avant-garde planting techniques and for the excellent quality of the production.
A great passion and an intelligent curiosity that pushes to research: these are the main values that distinguish the Dorigo brand, able to combine the oenological tradition - it is to Girolamo that we owe the recovery of the prestigious native Pignolo red wine - with innovation, thanks to systematic experimentation on the best combination between soil and type of vines. Dorigo is synonymous with commitment, dedication and creativity: all to produce wines of excellence, starting from the Friulian territory but expressing its uniqueness.
