Valgiano
The Tenuta di Valgiano is a farm since 1500. In 1993 Moreno Petrini bought the estate Valgiano, with the only project to make a simple wine to be sold in the year to maintain the property. Was Valgiano to teach that here you could make a great wine. Not a huge project or megalomaniac architects and winemakers but only the slow whispering of the earth which has shown the value of a fine terroir. The relationship with the place has changed completely and the owners for nearly speculators have become guardians of "terroir". The goal is to express the characteristics of the terroir in the wine without concessions to the techniques of counterfeiting, but allowing the vines to approach to the ground with roots and get married in the sun with the leaves and branches.
