Il nome FREIENFELD deriva dall’omonima tenuta rinascimentale, dove nel 1900 è stata fondata la Cantina. Già allora i pendii di Cortaccia su terreno dolomitico calcareo poroso, esposti al sole, rivelarono il loro potenziale per il Cabernet. Il Freienfeld viene vinificato solo con un andamento ottimale delle condizioni meteorologiche.

Bouquet

Nel naso dominano bacche nere e spezie mediterranee (alloro, maggiorana, lavanda). Note di menta piperita e cembro testimoniano la sua impronta alpina.

Flavour

L’esuberante ricchezza di frutto viene sostenuta da un tannino a grana fine. Il morbido tannino presente e l’acidità stimolante lasciano intravedere un potenziale di maturazione molto lungo.
