Costamiòle stammt aus den Weinbergen von Agliano Terme. Hier kann sich der Barbera am besten entfalten, begünstigt durch die für die Sorte ideale Südlage und den Ausbau in Barriques. Ein Wein, der in der Lage ist, die außergewöhnliche Frische und Aromatik der Rebsorte zu bewahren.

Colour

Sehr tiefes Rubinrot mit dunkelvioletten Reflexen.

Bouquet

In der Nase vereinen sich Fruchtnoten von Pflaume und Kirsche mit Noten von Veilchen, Zimt, Kakao und Leder.

Flavour

Am Gaumen ist er vollmundig, reich an weichen, aber gut strukturierten Tanninen.

Soil composition Sehr heller Ton, reich an kalkhaltigem Mergel.
Fermentation temperature Etwa 30 °C.
Vinification Bei der Ankunft in der Kellerei wurden die Trauben entrappt und gequetscht. Um die Mazeration zu optimieren, wurden täglich 2 Umfüllungen bei einer Höchsttemperatur von ca. 30 °C durchgeführt.
Ageing Etwa 12 Monate in neuen Barriques aus französischer Eiche. Costamiòle reifte vor der Freigabe ein weiteres Jahr in der Flasche.
