||The weather of the year is considered a textbook example of wine. All phenological stages of life occurred in the period and in ideal weather conditions. A rainy winter has allowed the land to a good supply of water to which then the plants were able to draw on during the summer, although it was not scorching hot temperatures. Thanks to the cool spring, the screw has developed a balanced vegetation, which is able to keep up the grape harvest. The presence of rains during veraison was essential to ensure the proper metabolism of the plant and, therefore, a balanced carbohydrate and the ripening of grape polyphenols. Finally, good temperature at night, during the autumn, have enabled the development of intense varietal aromas. At harvest the grapes it was made very healthy.
||Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats (27-30 ° C) with a maceration of 14 to 20 days.
||Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
||The wine is aged in oak barrels (barriques from 3.5 hl. Oak from Allier, and Chers Troncais) for a period of 30 months.
