Areas of cultivation	It is present almost exclusively in France, in the Champagne region. It is also cultivated in Germany, where it is called Müllerrebe or Schwarzriesling. History	It has its name (meunier = miller) that its grain-rich grains (a thin layer of wax which clings to some vegetable organisms and makes them waterproof) seem as if they were floured.
