The Domaine Bourgeois-Diaz covers seven hectares in the west end of the Champagne hills from the Vallée de la Marne. They have a patchwork of thirty land in very different Terroirs that allow the Domaine to propose Cuvée with complex aromas.
Jerome Bourgeois arrived in the Domaine in 2001 with previous experience in a cooperative and his passion for wine prompted him to start a new adventure. Having repeatedly tasted wines from Bio origin, or at least most natural, Jerome known how these products further express their qualities and begins to evolve towards this type of cultivation; since 2009 they are making a conversion to Biodynamic Agriculture and since 2010 no longer use any herbicide.
The soil is worked with biodynamic preparations; the wine is made through natural methods (without the use of exogenous yeasts, bacteria or enzymes), a third is fermented in wooden barrels and two thirds in stainless steel tanks. Annual production is currently about 40,000 bottles.
