Serego Alighieri Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Vaio Armaron 2016

It is an important Amarone wine of extraordinary strength and complexity, a classic of Italian oenology. It represents the icon of the historic Serego Alighieri estates and comes from the vineyard of the same name from which the name Amarone seems to derive. Its elegant personality is emphasised by the use of the Serego Alighieri clone Molinara and by ageing in cherry wood barrels, as the family tradition dictates.

Complex, notes of overripe cherries and cooked plums.

味道

Great sweetness with hints of cherry and berries. Spiced with cinnamon and vanilla.

Pairing

Perfect with red meat, game, quail, roasts and savoury dishes. Excellent with aged cheeses, such as Parmigiano or Pecorino. A fabulous wine to be enjoyed by itself.
