Brunello Poggio Doria is the sunset wine, the wine from the West due to its exposure. Aromatic, full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a juicy finish. An attractive balsamic wine with a dried-fruit character.

Ruby red with garnet reflections.

Ample and highly complex aromatic structure developing into mineral notes of graphite, fruity tones of red berries and spicy aromas of clove and vanilla.

Lengthy and balanced, with soft and persistent notes through to the refined finish characterised by dense, velvety tannins.

Delivery service has recently deteriorated. Two last shipments managed by UPS have been postponed several times. Pity, on time fast delivery used to be a strength.

Flamina the voice of reason

I have been using xtrawine for sometime now and I marvel at the range they have. I have also asked about a particular wine producer i like and sent an email and had a reply saying the wines from this producer will be on the list by week end. Brilliant. One small Glitch for some reason they now use UPS and they are a bit of a nightmare. Compared to FedX. But one quick call to Flamina the voice of reason all my fears were sorted. She’s a credit to the company, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable even had time for a bit of a laugh. Buona Giornata
