Sallier de La Tour La Monaca Syrah 2018

La Monaca, named after the historic winery, comes from special biotypes of Syrah that have shown unique adaptability on the Sallier de La Tour Estate. This is the Sicilian expression of a variety whose origin is disputed, but which has found in the DOC Monreale territory, and specifically in the Jato valley, an ideal place to grow.

顏色

Fleshy and deep ruby red.

香氣/花束

Intense and variegated nose that is offered with captivating and elegant tones. It recognizes red fruit, black cherry and blackberry, surrounded by violet, licorice, vanilla, balsamic and a strong spicy imprint.

味道

The sip is enveloping and offers a masterly balance, with spherical tannins perfectly integrated with the flavour. In the long finish, the spices and fruit return.
