Amarone, the symbolic wine of Valpolicella, represents an exciting new challenge for the Pieropan company. It stems from the desire to measure oneself against the Valpolicella terroir, neighbouring Soave, which is different and unique, and from the desire to realise one's red dream of an important wine, rich and structured but also elegant and fine, like all Pieropan wines.

Deep, with ruby reflections.

Ample, with hints of morello cherry, blackberry and plum.

味道

It is complex and rounded, with a powerful structure supporting the fruit and a lovely freshness on the finish.

Pairing

It pairs well with game dishes, grilled or braised meat, and strongly flavoured and aged cheeses. It is also ideal for serving among friends at the end of the meal.

收成	The grapes grown in the Cellore d'Illasi area, on the Garzon hill, are selected by hand and harvested in boxes in September. Natural withering, with the aid of fans if necessary. The must yield is low: one-third of the original weight of the grapes.
發酵期	15-20 days.
釀造	Grapes are crushed and destemmed. Fermentation temperature at 23-24°C for 15-20 days. Daily pumping-over and punching-down are carried out.
陳年	In 500 litre barrels for 36 months followed by a year in bottle before marketing.
總酸度	3.50 gr/L
Sulphites	Contains sulphites
