The nose is complex and brings to mind black cherries, with subtle notes of musk and cigar.

The tannins seem coated by the velvety texture of the wine. The length of the aftertaste is exceptional: note of spices and candied fruit linger forever in the mouth.

歷史	The geological layers of Burgundy are responsible for outcroppings of white chalk that can sometimes be seen at the surface. This is perhaps the origin of the name (Enclosure of the Rock), unless the "roche" refers to a Druidic dolmen raised here at the time of the Celts.

Great selection of very nice wines, but…

Great selection of very nice wines. Would have been 5 stars if a better courier was used. I live in London. The wines were in the country at least 5-6 days before they were delivered. I cannot imagine how the wines can survive the warmer seasons for that long.

A few years ago, I rated 5 stars. Recently the deal is not as great as before.

And the Italian wine selection seems to be less, or the wines that I interested are less. Some of the wines are no longer available on your site.

Delivery very good. Problem with wine.

Delivery very good. But I had one bottle that tasted off and there is no easy way to return it to.

It was Pian della Vigne - Brunello di Montalcino 2019

This also has happened last year with Il Poggione Brunello 2017.

It takes the edge off the value you provide.

Polluting packaging

Good selection, good prices and good customer service, BUT they use shameful and extremely polluting polystyrene packaging, while other online wine retailers use biodegradable carton from wood fibers, a natural and renewable resource.

Broad range of wines, good to very good prices. Quick delivery. Only a shame that the packaging of the wines is not in durable card board boxes but in non- recyclable polystyrene boxes.
