Domaine Mussy Pommard 1er Cru Epenotes 2015
The Epenottes are a climate that is located in the south of Beaune, on the border with Pommard. The soil, deep marls under clay loams, allows Pinot Noir to express its power and its wide range of flavors. In this place, on a little less than one hectare, the Mussy estate cultivates a vine of a little over 30 years. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and destemmed. The aging lasts at least a year and takes place in oak barrels of which about 10% new.
This 1er Cru sports an intense and sustained dress. Its nose, according to the years, evokes the red or black fruits. The palate here is harmonious and marked by a lingering finish. A wine of short guard, as often for the Beaune.
