Podere Forte Orcia Guardiavigna 2016

The name of this wine derives from the small tower in the centre of the estate, which was put in to guard the vineyards from Napoleonic invasions. Around the tower, at 480 metres above sea level with a south-southwest exposure, are the grapes for this great wine, elegant and harmonious, well-structured in which the warmth and aromas of this terroir can be felt.

Rich and complex bouquet with hints of small red and dark fruits, spicy and balsamic notes.

The tannins are silky, refined and well-balanced with acidity. Enveloping, soft and of great complexity. Persistent and mineral finish.
