Philipponnat Champagne Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut 2014

Cuvée Royale Réserve Brut comes from grapes of Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and in Mareuil-sur-Ay. Aging 5-7 years on yeasts before dégorgement. Minimum dosage of about 4 g / l. Its elegant complexity, with citrus notes and white flowers, is supported by a good freshness, with long and pleasing mineral traces. Champagne of great typicity and power.

Brilliant golden yellow color with fine and persistent perlage.

香气/花束

The nose expresses hints of spice (black pepper), acacia flowers and berries, with a nice hint of honey.

味道

In the mouth, it is large and powerful: it develops with energy and freshness on fruity and spicy notes. Finish very long and extremely elegant.

Pairing

It goes well with white meats, such as a crusty pork fillet with quenelle of aromatized potatoes. Great with foie gras, lamb and game. It can also serve as an aperitif.
