Produced with the same passion and attention to detail reserved for Ornellaia, Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia is a true "second vin". A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it combines immediate pleasure and taste-olfactory complexity with proven ageing potential.

Location	Bolgheri (Livorno).
收成	The grapes were harvested by hand in 15 kg crates, selected on a double sorting table before and after destemming, and then subjected to soft crushing. Since 2016, in addition to manual selection, optical selection has been introduced to further increase the quality of the selection. Each variety and each parcel was vinified separately.
酿造	Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at temperatures between 26-30°C for a fortnight followed by maceration for about 10-15 days.
陈年	Malolactic fermentation began in the stainless steel vats and was completed after transfer to barriques (25% new and 75% second passage). The wine remained in barriques in the company's cellars at a controlled temperature for about 15 months. After the first 12 months, it was blended and then reintroduced into the barriques where it spent a further 3 months. The wine stayed in the bottle for 6 months before marketing.
