The constant development of the Montalbera wineries began over thirty years ago with the purchase of the properties in Castagnole Monferrato and continues with the acquisition of the best neighbouring lands, not to mention the historic family-owned estate in Castiglione Tinella. In 2007, the opportunity to purchase some splendid vineyard land in La Morra, in the Langa famous throughout the world for the production of Barolo, made it likely to add a further step to the quality of the wines produced, with careful attention to Barolo DOCG that represented a modern vision of this extraordinary and ancient Piedmontese wine, as modern as the Montalbera oenological "realities" are. That precise moment saw the birth of the name 'LEVOLUZIONE' and the desire to propose a wine of absolute and inimitable tradition with a closer bond to the grape of which it is the son. Careful viticultural practices, selection of the grapes and a maniacal search for quality in winemaking have made it possible to maintain the quality heritage that the vineyard had created perfectly intact. Ageing in French oak barriques and traditional barrels for three years made it possible to achieve a result of rare and precious quality. An elegant and convincing wine that adds to the line of exceptional products that are the company's emblem.
