Marco Felluga Pinot Grigio Mongris Riserva 2019

The Pinot Grigio has been one of the most important grape varieties grown in the Collio since the second half of 1800, and today is one of the most popular white grape varieties in the region. The name "Mongris" comes from the contraction of the words "mono variety" and Pinot Grigio, "Gris" in the Friulan language.

Golden yellow often with copper tones.

It has an intense and immediate bouquet with pronounced hints of acacia flowers, broom and apple.

In the mouth it is elegantly fruity and becomes full bodied, well-structured with a long finish.

Location	Villages of Farra d’Isonzo, San Floriano and Cormòns
气候	Altitude: Farra d’Isonzo 80 m. a.s.l., San Floriano 250 m. a.s.l. and Cormòns 80 m. a.s.l.
土地的组成	The Collio’s hilly terrain, formed during the Eocene period, is composed of layers of sandstone and loam rock (limestone and clay) that were once the ocean floor. These soils are impermeable so rainwater flows off their surface, producing little erosion.
系统	Guyot.
收成	By hand.
酿造	After harvesting the grapes are separated from the stalks. The must and pulp undergo a cold maceration on the skins followed by a light pressing to separate the skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel temperature-controlled tanks.
陈年	The wine thus obtained is left to refine 6 months months on the lees before being bottled, and then some months in the bottle.
