Castello di Fonterutoli Siepi 2018

Siepi, owned by Mazzei family since 1435, has always been a model farm, still managed today with the same kind of respect. A unique location, a special microclimate, the foresight in the early 1980s to plant Merlot as the ideal grape to complement Sangiovese in a very particular "terroir" produce a wine which is perfectly balanced between elegance, power and complexity.

Deep, ruby red.

香气/花束

A flood wild fruit of tones, juniper, bois de rose and sandalwood, blond tobacco and again touches of noble vegetable and leather, follow one another non-stop.

味道

The taste is equally intense and fiery, full of perfectly modulated tannins with an absolutely responsive and very long finish.

Rich, textured dishes with dark sauces, game, blue cheeses.
