Schiopetto

The Azienda Agricola Mario Schiopetto is one of Collio's historical wineries. Located in the hills of Capriva del Friuli, Mario Schiopetto has been producing wines since 1965. Today, his children Maria Angela, Carlo and Giorgio carry on the family tradition, each of them playing the role more suitable to their talents, with the common aim of making high-quality wines. The Company's wines, in fact, express in the best possible way the territory where they are produced, always keeping a very strong personality and reflecting the Company's own characteristics: refinement, elegance and respect for tradition.

The seventh edition of the "Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy" edited by the well-known Italian food and wine journalist Daniele Cernilli rewards Schiopetto as one of the Italian excellences, confirming once again this year the excellent results obtained in the past years: Friulano M 2019 Friulano DOC Collio 2019 has been awarded with 3 stars (98 points).

Blumeri Rosso IGT Venezia Giulia 2018 has been awarded The Wine Hunter Award 2020 Platinium. "...An award that every year distinguishes the best products that have obtained a score higher than 96/100 and are considered the expression of the highest excellence". (Helmuth Köcher).

In 2020, the 2019 Pinot Grigio DOC Collio Schiopetto ranked 4th in the Top 100 Value Wines by James Suckling, with a score of 95/100, being also the only Italian to rank in the top 10.

The eighth edition of the 'Essential Guide to the Wines of Italy' edited by the well-known Italian food and wine journalist Daniele Cernilli once again rewards Schiopetto as one of the Italian excellences. Our Friulano M 2020 Friulano DOC Collio has been awarded with the "face" of Doctor Wine and the score of 97/100.
