成熟期 The grape bunches are generally small and compact. It is an early ripening variety and in central Spain is usually harvested in mid August.
产区 Albillo or Albillo Real is a Spanish-style white berry planted mainly in the Ribera del Duero region, but also in Madrid, Ávila and Galicia.
历史 In the second half of the 16th century it was very popular at the court of Madrid. The refinement takes place in Avila cold-blooded barrels, and there was a saying saying, "St. Martin's wine stuck in Avila deserves a florid". It was also consumed as table grapes, until the Roman muscat and grapes Italy began to be used more commonly for this purpose. The first written mention of Albillo was made in Gabriel Alonso De Herrera's "General Agriculture (1513)" work. In this work he describes the wine of this variety as "delicate, light color". He also said that wine could be kept for a while and "its improved quality if mixed with silky moscato."
特色酒 The grape has predominantly light aromas with notes of delicate fragrances, a high sugar index that makes the wine very smooth. We can find the grape added to red wines of the Ribera del Duero region to give distinctive nuances.
