Volpe Pasini Chardonnay 2023

Chardonnay is a grape native of France but has spread to all the wine growing areas of the world and for centuries now has been planted in Friuli, where it found one of the most suitable areas and today it can be considered one of the typical grapes of the region. A fresh and fruity wine, it is fermented and viniﬁed in steel vats. With time it becomes more and more complex, yet keeping the aromas typical of its variety.

Linear nose with pineapple, plum, cedar and mineral notes.

Flavour

Fresh and drinkable, with a savory finish. Balanced.

Pairing

Excellent as aperitif, it also goes well with ﬁsh and crustacean dishes.

Flamina the voice of reason

I have been using xtrawine for sometime now and I marvel at the range they have. I have also asked about a particular wine producer i like and sent an email and had a reply saying the wines from this producer will be on the list by week end. Brilliant. One small Glitch for some reason they now use UPS and they are a bit of a nightmare. Compared to FedX. But one quick call to Flamina the voice of reason all my fears were sorted. She’s a credit to the company, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable even had time for a bit of a laugh. Buona Giornata
