History |
FRANCESCO I: King of France from 1515 to 1547. The name is directly linked to the history of the sparkling wine. At the time, it happened to come across “wine that sparkled” for casual circumstances and that was considered a defect. The French king, who was busy with his court to modernize the costume, recited the new virtue of the sparkling wine against its detractors. |

Vinification |
The must obtained from a light pressing of the grapes ferments in stainless steel containers and it stays standing until the placing in bottle, where the refermentation of the wine occurs. |
Ageing |
Only after a long contact with the yeasts (36 months), the bottles are subjected to the operation of remuage and degorgement. After 6 months from degorgement they are commercialized. |
Pairing |
It is a good accompaniment to all courses. |
