Tenuta Viglione is a continuously expanding company. With 370 acres of vineyards at an average altitude of 450m, the main variety is Primitivo. Other indigenous grapes are grown, too: Verdeca, Falanghina, Fiano Minutolo, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, Aleatico, Susumaniello. The organic method of agriculture and winemaking is certified since 2005.
The winery was recently built, but it's already undergoing a further expansion. It has cooled stainless steel tanks, autoclaves for making sparkling wines and a room with barriques fois for ageing and a complete bottling line.
