If Brunello Tenute Silvio Nardi is the expression of the company's terroir as a whole, the Manachiara selection is the expression of the Eastern hilly side, a wine that boasts power and structure.
The first bottle was produced in 1995, after a 5-star classified harvest, using Sangiovese grapes exclusively from the Manachiara vineyard, the company's oldest vineyard, planted more than 40 years ago.
A total of 10,000 bottles are produced, only in the finest years.

Colour

Deep ruby red with garnet reflections.

Bouquet

Clean, intense, complex aromas with hints of ripe fruit, accompanied by floral notes, enhanced with a delicate spicy component.

Flavour

Soft in the opening followed by a defined evolution supported by the right degree of acidity. It has a great structure supported by soft, sweet, enveloping tannins and very good persistence. This wine is prone to ageing.

Pairing

It pairs well with red meat preparations such as stews and braised meats. It is also excellent with game, and cheeses even spicy ones.
