The Marani winery is a small family-run business located in Matelica, in the heart of the Upper Vallesina, area of diffusion of the Verdicchio di Matelica DOC. The vineyard extends for about 8 ha and is located in the middle of a hill at an altitude of 400 meters above the level of the sea. Ondex, dry pruning and thinning out characterise the cultivation of of the vine which is linked to principles of high quality and respect for the environment.
The harvest, carried out manually and in the shortest time possible, is the most delicate moment of the entire winemaking process followed by the maturation of the wines in autochthonous oak barrels.
