San Felice Vigorello 2011
A success from ancient history but recently. Precursor of a generation of wine later became famous as the "Super Tuscans", in 1968 was the first attempt to make wine only red grapes (Sangiovese), in sharp contrast to the custom of the time Chianti.
Vigorello, despite successive additions of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, still retains a typically Tuscan. A historical wine, therefore, of strength and vigor, as the name itself.

Colour

The color is a very intense ruby red with violet hues;

Bouquet

The nose has hints of cherry liqueur, blackberry and raspberry jam, with notes of tobacco and spices;

Flavour

In turn, the taste is soft, full, complex and very balanced, with spicy notes and hints of raspberry and cherry.

Pairing

It is a wine especially suitable for grills, roasts, game, including mature cheese.
