Colledilà - this land for centuries for land registration of ownership of Brolio - is the cru of this Chianti Classico that stands out for its complex structure and its large, modern elegance. Research on original clones that Barone Ricasoli has achieved over the last fifteen years and the one that was conducted in parallel on the characteristics of the different soils of the company, were now in a Sangiovese capable of enhancing all the wonderful qualities this blend. Qualities that the small size of the cru Colledilà make it even more exclusive.

Fabulous fruity notes make it immediately enjoyable and fascinating. Black cherry, cherry, strawberry, vanilla, cocoa, sweet tannins and well blended, floral notes intense and extensive.

Location The vineyard is situated at 380 meters above sea level, with south-west, in the most beautiful and representative of the company.
Climate Winter in the seasonal average, mild and rainy early spring, followed by a period with no rain between late April and May. Between June and July, the rains have given good water reserves sufficient to ensure the good development of the plants also a little earlier traditional trend. Follows a very hot August and with the absence of rains helped by the excellent thermal excursion of September, completed the ripening of the grapes.
Composition of the land The soils are of Paleocene-Eocene and are part of the geological formation known as "Monte Morello."
