Vinification	Fermentation and maceration for about 10 days in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing	For about 18 months, 80% of the wine is kept in steel and the remaining 20% partly in 25 hl oak casks and partly in second passage barriques. Several bottlings are carried out starting 15 months after the harvest.

Pairing	Typical Abruzzo cold cuts, garlic and oil pasta, roast suckling pig, barbecue chicken and fish soup.

Flamina the voice of reason

I have been using xtrawine for sometime now and I marvel at the range they have. I have also asked about a particular wine producer i like and sent an email and had a reply saying the wines from this producer will be on the list by week end. Brilliant. One small Glitch for some reason they now use UPS and they are a bit of a nightmare. Compared to FedX. But one quick call to Flamina the voice of reason all my fears were sorted. She’s a credit to the company, very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable even had time for a bit of a laugh. Buona Giornata
